It was only at the age of 27 that I finally acknowledged the fact that I’d been struggling with anxiety all my life.
Since then, I’ve been on a mission to surround myself with positive vibes and focus on improving my own personal wellbeing – as well as of those around me – both mentally and physically.
I started realising just how powerful the mind can be and how making small adjustments to your mindset can affect your daily life in so many ways.
I’ve recently felt as though I’m constantly at cross-roads in my life – feeling uncertain about what’s next for me. But now I realise that that’s ok and it’s time to embrace the uncertainty!
What I do know is that I love putting a smile on people’s face and reminding them of all the reasons they have to feel good about themselves and the world we live in.
So I decided to start blogging in the hope of creating a community for people to share their experiences, struggles and successes so that we can support each other and perhaps offer a different way of looking at things.
Daydream Seized will follow my quest to stop over-thinking and start being present in the here and now, while hopefully putting a smile on a few faces.
Perhaps my posts won’t change the world; but maybe there’ll be one person who'll read something they didn’t know they needed to hear and that will change their world.
Nobody’s journey is the same, but perhaps we can help each other make it memorable and worthwhile!
